THE MONFERRATO, A LAND RICH WITH CULTURE, TRADITION AND FLAVOUR
Take your time to discover this hidden gem of Italy far from the beaten tracks where the woodland alternates with the vineyards and the excellence of its wines stems from a long tradition which goes back in time.
The numerous underground cellars of Canelli which weave their way below the town's surface are now candidated as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site.
The Monferrato area is a land rich with culture, tradition and flavour. Many events and festivals are organised all year round to highlight the beauty of our nature, territory and tradition and, each year, these attract thousands of visitors, both Italian and from abroad.
Just a handful of these events are indicated below. Full information and more specialised information leaflets are available from our staff at the Agriturism.
Antique market of Nizza Monferrato (third Sunday of each month), The historical reproduction of the medieval Siege of Canelli held on the third weekend of June (L'Assedio)

...and, in the evening, we can spoil you with a glass of wine while you relax and admire the evening light of our hills, the scent of our flowers and the silence of our countryside, interrupted only by the delightful twittering of the birds...
